NextGen Software to ASME VIII div. 1 & 2 Ed. 2010 Addenda 2011
NextGen software, originally covering ASME VIII div.2 and recently integrated with ASME VIII div.1 (and WRC Bulletin 107 / 297 for nozzle load calculation) is now updated to Addenda 2011 of ASME Code. Both pressure vessels & heat exchangers can be calculated. NextGen versions have a brand new user interface with 3D model of the equipment, full material data base and other enhancements.  read more...
Latest Software Updates
The EN 13445 software is now updated to the 2009 Edition, Issue 3 of the norm; the software for calculation of towers under wind and eartquake loads (with reference to ASME VIII div.1 code) has been revised & enhanced; programs for calculation of vessels of rectangular section are available according to ASME VIII div.1, EN 13445 & AD 2000

About us

SANT'AMBROGIO Servizi Industriali s.r.l. was founded in 1988, as the result of the concurrence of different professional experiences in the field of mechanical calculation, software development and product certification, with the main focus on the design of pressure vessels.

SANT'AMBROGIO personnel has wide experience & comprehensive know-how which allow to meet all customers needs by providing a wide range of services as DBF (Design by Formulae) of pressure vessels and heat exchangers in accordance with the main calculation codes, DBA (Design by Analysis), i.e. design and fatigue analysis by means of finite element calculation, thermal design of shell & tube heat exchangers, waste heat boilers, feed water heaters.

SANT'AMBROGIO develops and supplies a wide range of software packages for mechanical design, rating & production of drawings of pressure vessels and heat exchangers. SANT'AMBROGIO is leader in the pressure vessel software market in Italy and has more than 350 licenses world-wide.

Furthermore our company actively contributes to CEN/TC 54 work by running the Convenorship of Working Group C which has prepared (and is now enhancing) Part 3 - Design - of the New Harmonized Standard on Unfired Pressure Vessels (EN 13445)

SANT’AMBROGIO has also been participating in various European research projects: it took part to the “Design by Analysis” project and coordinated the "ENVELOPS" research project for the validation of the new calculation methods contained in the EN 13445-3.

Recently, as member of the Italian Notified Body CEC, SANT’AMBROGIO has cooperated with TÜV Austria in the “Comparative Study” research project, which compared EN 13445 and ASME VIII div. 1 and div. 2, basing on a set of benchmark examples, i.e. reactors, tanks, heat exchangers, autoclaves, and air coolers designed both to EN 134445 and to ASME VIII (comparing also the manufacturing costs of both alternatives).
All code calculations carried out within the scope of the project have been performed using our pressure vessel software (EN 13345 software and ASME software).

Moreover SANT'AMBROGIO is founder member of the Notified Body C.E.C. (Consorzio Europeo di Certificazione), together with I.I.S. (Istituto Italiano della Saldatura) and A.N.C.C.P. (Agenzia Nazionale Certificazione Componenti e Prodotti).
