Pressure Vessels Design

Design (by Formulae – DBF) and checking of pressure vessels and heat exchangers in accordance with the main calculation codes (ASME, AD 2000, VSR, VSG, CODAP, PD 5500, GOST, SVTI,  Stoomwezen, Australian Standard and other codes) and with EN 13445-3.

Thermal design of shell & tube heat exchangers, waste heat boilers, feed water heaters and air coolers. As H.T.R.I. (Heat Transfer Research Inc.) member, Sant’Ambrogio can carry out thermal calculations using H.T.R.I. software and can also provide the thermal guarantee for the designed equipment.

During 2010 Sant’Ambrogio has designed the solar steam generation module of the power station of Priolo (Siracusa, Italy), i.e. one of the first solar plants in the world using melted salts as heat transfer fluid.
